XLC have created the A-Head Semi Headset HS-I12-1 for those who require supremely smooth steering with reliable components. Manufactured specifically for bikes with 1 1/8” high rise conical steerer tubes, and with an aluminium construction for the ultimate in lightweight strength. CroMo semi cartridge bearings are used to optimise steering. CroMo cartridge bearings mean you’ll need less frequent servicing to keep your headset running smooth. If they need replacing you simply switch out the single unit rather than individual ball bearings. Aluminium cups are also used.
