Product Description The XTR BR-M9110 Brake Caliper by Shimano - Flat-mount model for racers The BR-M9110 is a caliper from Shimano's high-end XTR series, which is attached to the rear of the frame via Flat Mount and is compatible with 140 and 160 mm brake rotors. Front wheel use is not possible. As a very light 2-piston model, it is aimed at cross-country racers, especially as it comes with resin pads with a titanium backing plate. The flat mount standard is proven technology known from the road bike sector, and has the advantage of a compact design that blends in pleasantly with the bike's appearance. The braking performance is in no way inferior to that of the BR-M9100 postmount caliper. The BR-M9110 is made of anodised aluminium and has a straight line connection; the pistons are made of heat-resistant ceramic. It can also be combined with Ice-Tech pads for even better heat dissipation. The One-Way Bleeding technology facilitates the bleeding process.
